A little about me
My name is Leanne and I have kept rabbits for over 20 years as pets or when helping
with my family who bred mini lops, Belgian hares and few other breeds to show.
In the more recent years I have become a member of the BRC (British rabbit council) My daughter Rosie is involved with the rabbits and is a Junior BRC member she keeps Lionlops and mini rex. I currently keep Silvers in grey and blue, Himalayans in black and lilac and Thrianta .
My rabbits are fed on Alan page rabbit food and are used to greens and vegetables, barley rings and Graze on. They also like the odd slice of toast and ginger nut biscuit as a treat.
When buying a new rabbit especially one under 16 weeks remember to check what food they are
eating and if different to yours introduce slowly over a week by mixing yours into there normal food, adding more of yours each day and less of mine so at the end of the week only the new food remains, also make sure you check if your new rabbit is used to greens, carrots and other veg. If you do want them to have veg they have not had introduce it slowly a little piece at a time, so not to upset their stomach
